Delete your Holaris account

You can delete your account and data at any time, from the app or from the web. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

How to delete it

Sign in to Holaris on the web, or open the app on your phone.
Go to Settings → Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm, then choose Permanently delete my account.

Want a copy first? Settings → Your data lets you download your data before you delete.

Can't sign in?

First try resetting your password. If you no longer have access to your email, write to [email protected] from the email address on the account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We'll verify that the account is yours before deleting it, and never ask for your password.

What's deleted

You're signed out on every device immediately. The rest is removed within minutes:

Your email address, sign-in methods and sessions (so the email can be used again).
Your profile, photo, interests, preferences and push notification tokens.
The text and images of messages you sent. The other person sees “Message removed”.
Your echoes, replies and spark answers, reactions, saved items, notifications and connections. Pending letters are cancelled.

What's kept, and why

Safety records: reports you made or that were made about you (including the reported content, up to 1,000 characters) and moderation decisions. We keep these to protect other members and meet legal obligations. They're linked to an anonymous placeholder, not to your email.
Backups: deleted data can remain in backups for up to 30 days.
