Holaris has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming and sextortion. This page explains how we prevent it, how to report it and what we do when we find it.
If a child is in immediate danger
Contact your local emergency services first, then report it to us.
What's prohibited
- Any sexual content involving a minor, real or generated, including drawings and AI images.
- Grooming: an adult building a relationship with a minor to exploit them, or trying to move them to another app.
- Sextortion: threatening to share intimate images, or demanding images, money or contact.
- Sexualised comments, requests or roleplay involving anyone under 18.
- Trafficking, or promoting harm to children in any form.
Breaking these rules leads to an immediate permanent ban, without a warning first, and a report to the authorities.
How the app protects younger members
- You must be at least 16 to join, and we ask for a date of birth that can only be set once.
- Members aged 16–17 are in a separate space. They never see adults, and adults never see them: not in discovery, posts, letters or messages.
- Members under 18 can't share phone numbers, emails or social handles, even disguised ones.
- Nobody can message someone until that person accepts their letter.
- Anyone can be blocked or reported in one tap, from any profile, message or post.
- Accounts that belong to someone under 16 are deleted.
How to report
- In the app: choose Report on the profile, message or post, then Child safety (exploitation or grooming). The content is hidden immediately and every moderator is alerted.
- By email: [email protected], with a link or description of the account or content. Please don't send us the images themselves.
- You can also report CSAM directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline or your national hotline.
What we do
- A moderator reviews urgent reports first, ahead of everything else.
- We preserve evidence securely and never share the material ourselves.
- We ban the accounts involved.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC and to the relevant authorities in other countries where required.
- We cooperate with law enforcement investigations, as the law allows.
